A quick update on my visit to CW to:

1) Transfer stamps to my new UK passport that was issued in Thailand after my last overseas trip at Xmas time.

2) Submit 90 day report ( first in person report after overseas trip)

Stamp transfer went like clockwork. I just handed over the form and the copies listed on the form.

For the 90 days report I had made an appointment through the online booking system. Appointment was for 11:40am and I was called at 11:41am so can’t complain about that!

I had prepared a new TM30 as soon as I received my new passport but the IO informed me that the new passport hadn’t been registered in their system until I had completed the stamp transfer had been completed therefore my TM30 was invalid. She let it go and approved my report but said I needed to resubmit my TM30 again with the new passport number before my next report as indicated by the below stamp on my 90 day receipt. Conclusion. If you get a new passport in country you need to complete the stamp transfer process and submit a new TM30 before you do a 90 day report or it might be rejected. In my case I managed to do stamp transfer and 90 day report on the same day but only because the IO was kind enough to give me a pass this time. I will do a new TM30 and see if I can do my next report online.

My Apologies to ALL Members for jumping the gun on the 60 to 30 visa exempt change.

That is a RECYCLED article that was out in March last year and just being parroted again

At this time NOTHING has been officially announced about when/if the change from 60 days for 90+ countries will change to 30..

Thanx go to Dany Nomad for pointing out that it was a recycled article (y) (y) (y)

My sincerest apologies to everyone (even I get it wrong sometimes :P )

“Quick question for the groupExperts

: With all the recent DTV updates and reports about entry issues into Thailand, I’m a DTV visa holder travelling in February for 10 days. Is it possible to skip the DTV process and just enter on a normal tourist visa to avoid any complications?”

Any updates on when the Thai–Cambodia borders will reopen? Haven’t seen much recent news and wondering if anyone’s heard of an official date yet.

Hello everyone,

I applied for the DTV visa in Jakarta on May 25, and today marks the 10th day since submission.

So far, I haven’t received any updates—no request for additional documents or communication of any kind.

I would like to ask:

Why might it be taking longer than expected?

How many more days should I expect to wait, approximately?

Has anyone received visa approval in early June already?

Thank you in advance for any information shared.

Has anyone had success changing their employment details (e.g., if a change of job has occurred) for the same application?
