ok got it thanks! The years before I stayed for only about 6 months per year in Thailand or sometimes even less.

that's what I guessed and why I'm not taking the feedback from that officer to me as valid. But do you know of any case where Immigration pulled someone aside although he wasn't in the country for over 3 month?

I guess it's time for you now to look for a proper visa if you want to stay in Thailand like this (or stay out of Thailand for at least 90 days every time before re-enter). Because immigration flagged your name now in their systems, so when you leave Thailand next time for only a "short trip" again and come back, chances are quite high that they will deny entry to the country in this time.

Since there are now several legit visa options for younger people under 50 also without having a job in Thailand (DTV, Elite Visa etc.) Immigration is now way more strikt on that.

Good Luck!

no need for medical extension if you are still able to walk in to immigration in my point of view... just inform yourself about the visa extension process at your local immigration office but usually it should be fine doing the extension on the 4th.

Ok I will keep this in mind but it’s a little bit confusing than calling this field „place of issue“. For example I also hold a German Passport where the place of issue is literally the city of where you got the passport. This city name I used for previous visa applications with my German passport and never was a problem, so I applied the same logic This time… But ok if this is what they want, I will try it.

This would be „ MINISTRO AFFARI ESTERI E COOPERAZIONE INTERNAZIONALE“ which is translated like „Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation”…

Yes you're right, but I stayed already 6 month on a METV in Thailand this year. Although I had a over 3 month long interruption in Europe, which should be ok for re entering Thailand again this year, I would like to even more decrease my risk to be rejected at Immigration since I have a visa.

@Ken ******
thanks for your feedback. So I would come back to Thailand in November and using the full visa plus extension would let me stay until end of January 25.

Do you think entering afterwards in year 2025 again could be an issue?

Or do they start to count only from January onwards each year?

thanks for your feedback! So to minimize risk, I understood entering Thailand with a TR visa via land border would be the way to go?

The point of entering with a visa instead no visa is total clear and makes sense!

But could you quick tell me, why entering via land is more promising than entry via air?

Good luck!

Would be hilarious if this new visa will grant you a 5 year stay for only a doctor appointment.
