Hey everyone,
Just want to know if anybody already walked in to Jomtien Immigration with an pre booked online appointment (Tourist Purpose) and what were his experiences / what to do different than without having the appointment?
The reason why Iโm asking, I did the TR extension at Jomtien already several times and I never saw any signโs or a different line for people with appointments.
Moreover as soon as someone try to skip the line and approach the security on the door, trying showing him for example something on his phone (confirmation online appointment?), in 99% of the cases it was rejected by the officer and the person got send back to the end of the line.
Therefore my concern is, that the online appointment system at jomtien makes no different since they not consider it anyway.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the experiences of expats using the online appointment system at Jomtien Immigration for tourist visa purposes, particularly for visa extensions. The author notes confusion regarding whether having an appointment actually helps expedite the process, as they have not witnessed any dedicated lines for appointment holders. They express concerns that security often does not acknowledge the online appointment confirmations and that individuals attempting to skip the line are typically sent back to the end. Comments suggest that showing the appointment confirmation to the guard at the exit door enables a smoother entry.
