From the London embassy mine took 14 days as they are very busy this time of year. They do say upto 10 working days and that resets if you need to give additional information. Fingers crossed for you

Firstly it depends what visa you have, the LTR wealthy pensioner visa exempts you from thai tax. If you have a standard retirement visa then they will be accessible for tax if you are a thai tax resident in the year you remit the money, doent mean you will pay taxes but you should submit a thai tax return, in your case probably would pay thai tax on your remittance. Thailand has a thai tax proposal that is being reviewed hopefully approved that will give more opportunities to bring money into thailand without paying tax. When they changed the interpretation in jan2024 many thais stopped bringing money into thailand so the revenue department has lost lots of tax from thai nationals. This is looking to change so thai nationals will start to repatriate money again knowing the tax burden has been lifted. Look out for the changes in the coming months

Unfortunately not in thailand they do discriminate with age for many jobs so they wont be too concerned about the older generation ( especially foreigners) using apps

I'm sure you will be fine with your history, you have acted as a tourist would so i think you are worrying needlessly. Enjoy your family holiday

The Visa or visa exempt crackdown. Has no impact at all on a non O visa, if you get a non O visa for your return you dont need onward travel at all since you have a long term visa. Don't worry either about the tdac you can put reason for visit as the most appropriate to you!!

The non O visa 90 day validity period is used up the moment you entered thailand and you got your 90 day stamp , you can't leave and return on that visa ans get another 90 days stamp as its used up/finished, other than what I have already said above about getting a re-entry permit.

You can get a re entry permit for your non O retirement visa before you leave to keep it valid But you will not get any additional time on your re entry stay you will only get stamped in for your original visa expiration date, so only a month left on your non O visa. The tdac it doesn't matter what you put as the reason for visit, holiday, thai family etc.
