there are so many story's here. I can imagine that, when you all read this while you not know about thai visa at all, you not know where to start.

So the best way is the site of Immigration. They have the wright story and the latest news.

Or go to a visa office.

All people here are so kind and trying to help!!!! But all have other opinions and that surely is gonna confuse.

I even have my retirement Non OA for a few weeks and did all by immigration of my country. So I know how it works. But then still there were people here who said I was wrong????!!!!.

Also very easy and possible..... just enter with a exemption (60 or 30 days free, depends on your country). Then go to a visa office in Thailand and they will take care of it very easily.

It is NOT possible to apply this way if you want a Non OA.

Stuart Chiverton Why you only talk about 800k. Not everybody has that money. Not forget that also for a Non O you can use the rule..

I went to Kasikorn bank 3 weeks ago in Chiang Mai. needed lease contract, visa, passport. NOT needed a certificate of residence.

Before went to bangkok bank. and they resisted a certificate.

As far as I know, just checked immigration, for the 65k per month you need 12.month proof of income. There might be officers who not look at it, but never take a gamble here!
