Answer summary
Recent announcements from Thai immigration have left many expats anxious, especially regarding documentation required due to flight cancellations. Key points include that a proof of cancellation is sufficient and that immigration is not punishing those impacted. There is also chatter about potential government assistance of 2000 THB per day for those unable to leave; however, many express skepticism about this claim and question its implementation.

Immigration is asking for something that NO embassy of any country will supply. A proof of cancellation of the flight is sufficient. There is no embassy in Bangkok that issues a statement that the cancellation is for real
A cancelled flight does not necessary mean you cannot leave, but it is a good thing Immigration is not punishing people that already got in trouble by the agression of Iran.
