They can do this with the minimum course fee of 150k or 200k baht. No country in the world hands out 5 year visas for 12k baht.

Sooner or later these cooking and Muay Thai visa doors are going to get closed, or the fees will get ramped up.

Nobody knows....I'm in the country with a DTV since early November, nothing happened so far. I have 2 bank accounts, one of them with 2 term deposits and a credit card attached to it. I opened them 7 years ago with an O-A retirement visa. Planning to change from DTV to LTR in 5 years.

What's wrong with NZ? In Australia it was $600 AUD. That's exorbitant.
