Can you apply from any consulate world wide instead of your home countries ? NZ charges $2000 which is ridiculous , Australia is $600 , the currencies are almost the same value versus one another.

How much are you paying for the DTV Visa? I often see 350,- USD here but I applied in new zealand and they charged me 2000,- NZD (roughly 1250,- USD) through the thai embassy?

Ok it looks like NZ and Australia are now live with the evisa system

Any good companies in New Zealand for the covid insurance,and is the covid test price separated from the price of the quarantine hotel price.

Update on the previous 10 day quarantine that passed someone somewhere. It's only for 6 countries (yes, China is one), you can only travel to certain provinces after quarantine, and you have to wear a tracking device...

Any ideas about a country nearby that a South African passport holder could enter on a passport with under 6 months validity?

Someone is waiting for their new passport (and the old one is NOT canceled yet) and they need to come back to thailand on a 30 day visa exempt entry and wait for their new passport to arrive.

And before you start the real rule for entering thailand is that you must have more time left on your passport than you are being stamped in for NOT that you need 6 months on the passport to enter the country. That 6 month rule is to BUY a thai visa from a consulate.

Does anyone have experience obtaining METV in New Zealand (as non NZ resident - UK passport holder)?
