wow were do you live man I have had to get dozens of these over the years in rayong and never taken more than 20 minutes

You don't get certificate of residence from embassy you get it from your Immigration office

Yes its crazy but has always been that way. Just persevere and go bank to bank and even same bank in a different area and one will say yes

There is no such thing as a retirement visa or a long term visa,,,,, after being a member of this site a long time I know the pain of the administration people,,,,,,

So meany lazy people hit thaivisa site without doing any research at all it's not that hard to press a few buttons and look around Thai immigration site and then look at your country of origin sites and when you are proper stuck and need a answer then these guys can help you no problem ,,it's a bloody good help site ,it's not a site that if you can't be arsed and expect admin to fill out your visa and expect these guys to do it for you
