So currently on 1 year extended stay based on retirement with 90 day reporting . My visa is not multiple entry . I have to nip back to oz for a few weeks so was wondering if the members think getting re entry visa is easier or less hassle at immigration in Pattaya or at airport in Bangkok

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the ease of obtaining a re-entry permit for a one-year retirement visa holder with 90-day reporting requirements. It suggests that getting a re-entry permit at Bangkok airport is straightforward, taking about 5 minutes before your flight, and provides directions for the process. Additionally, the experience at Pattaya immigration is mentioned as efficient, with a quick visit reported.

Very easy at the airport. You only need an extra 5 or so min before your flight. You go through immigration 2. Got to bottom of escalator and turn right. Desk is in car corner.
But also I did my reporting last week at pattaya immigration and was in and out in 5 min so I think it would be very easy to get there too.
