u don't need 400k in the bank for a straightforward 90 day non o. When you say financials, what do you mean?

That is because you're applying in country. They assume u want a yearly non o. It works out as 3 months to begin with and then it's converted into a years extension. Can be done in country but u need to show finances.

Mark Doster If it's just a 90 day non o visa, you don't need to show finances bro. I'm sure it's the same at any embassy. You only need to show finances for the yearly extension. As far as I'm aware, you could get a non o for 90 days, then extend in country for another 60 days. A family extension. This gives u a total of 5 months. Then just leave and do the same again.

no finances needed for the non o family visa in Savanakhet, Laos yes? This is the 90 day visa is that right? The yearly extension requires finances though. I was under the impression u can get the non o for family purposes in any embassy without finances. The 90 day one that is. You only need finances for the yearly extension which u then do in Thailand after the 90 days.
