Trying to sort out the 60 day covid extension as I believe they stop on March 30th. Is this still the case and if so, what immigration office in Bangkok is best to go to?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day COVID extension is believed to end on March 30th, and while it's uncertain if further extensions will be granted, there is speculation that they might be extended. For those seeking a long-term stay, it is advised to check with immigration offices, although some may require a regular 30-day extension first before applying for the COVID-specific extension.

Not sure about MTT, but if you are on a 60 day TV many immigration offices are requiring one to first get the regular 30 day extension before being able to apply for the 60 day Covid extension

Unlikely any immigration office will give you another extension at this point with you having more than 30 days left until May 1st. So I guess you can just hope they will be extending those 60-day extensions beyond March 30 - which I think is highly likely.

ok mate. Thanks for the advice. Well I’ve booked my appointment anyway for the 25th, so I’ll check it out. I wonder when they might make an announcement as to extending the 60 day extensions!

Traditionally, extension of the COVID extension program has been announced last minute only. Either on the last day - or even retroactively a couple of days after it ran out before. Unfortunately.

Sure, no harm in trying - after all, this is Thailand and almost nothing is applied consistently.

and this is the only immigration office only I can use? Seems a little far away out the city centre, but of course worth travelling to if need be

@Spencer ******
Sadly it is the only immigration office you can use if you live in Bangkok

Entered on a tourist visa - expires May 01st so I’m led to believe that I’d get another 60 days from May 01st, so long as I apply before March 30th

@Spencer ******
That's correct. You'll go to Muang Thong Thani immigration office. You can make an appointment at
