Greg Simpson If they request additional documents there should be a link for you to upload. When I applied they requested a document I'd already uploaded. So I uploaded the same document again and it was accepted that time. Strange system at times.

Graham Seal Isn't that what I said? I was replying to a comment about fund requirements before arrival which was irrelevant here.

It will take planning on your part to complete the process based on your FIFO schedule. Apply for a Non O visa, arrive, open bank account and deposit funds, after funds have been in account two months apply for extension of stay (visit your immigration office for list of required documents), be given under consideration stamp, report back to immigration on required date to have extension stamped in passport. Immigration will probably arrange a home visit during the under consideration period (normally 3 - 4 weeks) so you and your wife need to be present. Good luck.

Marx Grout Just book into a hotel for a night, they are required by law to register you as staying there. Ask them for a copy.

PeacefulTangerine7544 You mean eating out at western style eateries. If you eat predominantly Thai then it's cheaper to eat out than cook.

Registering online as suggested is the easiest method going forward. The entry can only be retrieved for seven days so remember to export and print. Either get your wife to register or you can do it, just need the blue book and ID card. Not difficult.
