If you actually want to learn something, it’s not a waste of money.

If you only want to stay three months, it doesn’t make sense to apply for any of the retirement visas. Just get a tourist visa. Retirement visas are only cost-effective if you plan to stay for years.

I admire the fact that they separate the official fees from their her own service fees. I haven’t seen agencies inside Thailand to do that. And the fees are pretty reasonable too.

doubtful they’ll let me into the immigration section with a domestic ticket, but I will ask. Thanks

@Robert ******
yes I was thinking about that. But it’s too late to go to immigration here, I’m flying out tomorrow. I hope they’ll fix it in Chiang Mai

- since you mentioned this, I just checked the stamp I received a couple days ago on my reentry. Yup that’s what happened! Can I go back to the airport and get it fixed? I’m in Phuket , but about to go back to Chiang Mai
Alan *******
It’s only valid for 30 days, that probably means that you have to use it within 30 days.

Make sure you bring documents with you to prove you are married

I am in Chiang Mai. Can anyone tell me what their practice is for requiring TM 30 after reentry?
Alan *******
You can get the 30 day extension anytime, 1900 baht at any immigration office.
