TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the requirements and general advice regarding obtaining an investment visa for Thailand, specifically for individuals planning to invest in new condos with amounts ranging from 20 to 25 million baht. Although someone shares a link to official information from the Board of Investment (BOI), there are also cautionary comments about the returns on investment in Thailand and alternative recommendations such as the Thai Elite Visa, which offers long-term residency but does not permit work.

well money is being made in other parts of the world, but the life quality in SE Asia is better! Making money in Thailand is too much of a bother! Here we drink Thai rum and drink Singha 😀

it’s legitimate, numerous members hold such a Visa. You cannot work on this Visa, it’s appeal is the ability to come & go as you please, VIP all the way 🤑

These are the requirements to get an EXTENSION of stay based on investment.

They are not the requirements to get the initial Non-Immigrant Type IM visa
