What passport is your friend coming on? Will they have a visa, or a visa exempt entry? Coming by land or by air?

assuming that you have a USA passport, there will not be any problem getting the 30 day extension. You don’t need a visa to enter.

Tod, the reason we almost all call it a retirement visa is that it says “retirement” on the stamp. This reminds me of the conversation between Alice in the White Knight, where he is distinguishing between “the name of the song,” what the song is called, and the song itself.
