What do I need to do to work and live in Thailand? How can I get a visa in the easiest way?

If I register for language school, can I work at a workplace?

DTV soft power question. Does anyone have experience or has been approved on the DTV through a language school? Ive seen alot of approvals from muay thai schools. Again Thai embassies have contradicting feedback. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Just received my DTV from Thai embassy London, based on learning Thai at a language school. All other conditions met, total time seven days and that was after supplying further documents that they requested......😊

Hi, is a language school registration qualified for DTV?

Hi everyone. I will be coming to Thailand (pattaya) in October and wish to get an ED visa to a language school so I can’t stay for at least a year. I have been told by people in Thailand that I can come over and apply and do everything whilst in Thailand but if that is true would I be able to enter the country on a single plane ticket from the UK or do I have to apply for tuition and obtain the ED visa whilst still in the UK?

Is there an age restriction to get the ED Visa? I heard someone say it must be under 50 years old. Is it true?

My daughter, (27 year old USA citizen) is considering trying to get a student visa through a Thai language school in the Bangkok area.

She is already fluent in Thai except she wants to study reading & writing a few hours per week.

She is looking for a visa without being in class “full time”.

My friends son is in Udon Thani on an educational visa which runs out February next year. He has been told he can’t apply before mid December but wants to get his head around if he could stay for another year ( preferred option) or have to go back to Europe.

Has anyone had experience of renewing an educational visa and if so what’s the best route forward?

I believe long term he would like to live and work here in Thailand
