I got the run around in 2019 and just went to an agent and for 1000 baht they did all the work whilst I went to the coffee shop and relaxed. 2 days later I met them at the bank and just signed the papers. I can't remember what I needed but they will tell you.

Its one of the best 1000 baht I've ever spent

Not true, you need a valid IDP together with your home country driving license.

You need an IDP with your English language License. The English/Australian/NZ/USA etc license on its own not sufficient.

that's good to know. I had to send more funds as the first lot didn't show on the statement that it came from overseas and all of it sent via Transferwise. Next time it's a visa extension so maybe slightly different.👍

I don't think so. When you have the 800k ti get your visa they check bank statements and it has ti show it coming from overseas. Transferwise doesn't always show it as coming from overseas either unless you say the reason is for extended living allowances........
