Hello. I was just told that I need to spend 5 days in Cambodia to re-enter Thailand on my O visa. Is that the standard exit requirement?

I'm moving to Chiang Mai next month from the UK. I normally use TransferWise for my money transfers but for sending 40k gbp for my o visa, anyone used azimo? Good rates free for first 2 transactions

Anyone who has lived or lives in Thailand and who has O Visa, can you tell me if, after expiring the 3 month stay they granted in Migration, I have to return to my country of origin?

Or just to go to the border and re-enter is enough to extend another period?

What if there is a time to allow to return to Thailand?

I have an O Visa for one year, but I only have permission to stay 3 months in the country.
