TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion revolves around the best options for a Thai partner to obtain a Schengen visa for meeting in Europe. Recommendations were made for several countries, highlighting Turkey as a visa-free option for Thais, while Cyprus and Malta were noted as potentially favorable for Schengen visas. Other mentions included Italy and Germany, alongside comments about the difficulties surrounding UK visitor visas for Thais. The conversation suggests that while Turkey is not part of the Schengen area, it remains popular for its ease of access.
"Most Thais" complete nonsense. Most Thais work. A lot of Thais aren't rich though, that's for sure.

If your income differs from month to month, it's not a salary, by the way... 555 l work for the NHS, waiting for the results of our spouse visa application, non salaried, as my income varies...
yes most Thais work... I meant the majority, don't have a salary or property... You need to proof of this, to show you will return.
Nice for you, if you have a..
Hi-So, partner.

Jack Anthony Tarelli Baebphaen-Meynell Most Thais who work for a company have plenty of proof of salary. I think you mean menial workers and day laborers who obviously don't.
Every one I have met have jobs and salaries. Some have degrees others haven’t but work. Even own land and property.
Maybe I made a mistake and thought I was in Thailand but actually wasn’t 🤣
Come on please. To say most do not have salaries or property. What a ridiculous statement you made.
Obviously there are those who do not have work or a home but there again it’s the same in most countries. In fact all countries.
If the particular Thai does not have the appropriate funds then the person inviting the Thai to Europe or UK can give a covering letter taking responsibility for the visiting person.
To finish. The person that thumbs up your statement obviously has no idea either.

😂 Less than 0.75% population including Scotland and N Ireland which will not be part of UK for long Don't think the world will stop spinning without Little England. You will need work visas and tourists Visa to travel in Europe
We were at Arjaan Rotana Creek, the rooftop pool view was great and it was low season price (October) but far from everything, ended up renting a car, so not sure I would recommend...

France and Italy are notoriously listed as the more “easier” countries but as everything is now centralized though VFS you might never know...
You best be quick as a UK passport holder attempting entry to any EU country after the 1st January within the EEA, or Schengen-associated states, Norway has also confirmed it will bar UK visitors from 1st January.
I’m on my third attempt to for a Visitor Visa to UK for my partner and daughter, two refusals so far 😢. That’s 3rd attempt in 1 month! I just returned from Thailand to return to work and I had been there since March. I just really want them over for Christmas but, the UK home office are very difficult! I can clearly support them, we both have more than enough funds in our accounts, her as well as me... It feels like a money making scam to be honest! Fingers crossed this 3rd attempt works, otherwise, it’s Christmas in Turkey for me 😂
I felt really sorry for you as you slowly realised that lockdown would continue, back in May/June. It was as if you felt responsible for your governments border closures.
Istanbul is very cosmopolitan, open to all people as a great crossroads, beautiful, lots & lots to do...could not be a better idea...and the Turks are wonderful...
