When you arrive on dec 1st, you'll get 60 days. Extendable at immigration with 30 days for 1900thb.

If you are here for only 3 weeks then don't bother with a TM30. Only when you need immigration for extensions or whatever I would bother . :)

 Well... depends on what you want to achieve. You can study even on a visa exempt.

 Not the same at all, with the ED you don't have to leave the country when doing your 3 90 day extensions.
