TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling to Kuala Lumpur for an ED visa involves a smooth application process if you arrive early and have all necessary documentation. It's recommended to pre-book KLIA train tickets and familiarize yourself with the queueing system at the embassy, as it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Ensure you have the correct size photos for your application, and be prepared to answer questions about your intent to study. Suggestions for making the most of your trip include visiting local attractions like Batu Caves and the Petronas Towers.

Alright, just came back from the pick up. It's first in, first out but it goes really fast. I arrived around 14:40 and was out a few minutes later. Number 2015 was up when I entered and I had number 2025. In the end everything went super smooth. No question asked at all, no extra documentation needed. I have to say I have a rather 'clean' Belgian passport with only 1 TR and 1 really short exempt in it without any extensions. Renewed it Nov last year. Hope this information is useful for someone. :) (tagging: Juphin Dhammakul

How does the 2nd day queueing system works? First come first served or is it depending on the number you received the day before?

Checklist, arrive before opening the gates, have RM with you - check your school papers: name, nationality, dates - prepare your answers, why you want to learn!

In HCMC they did for ED, in KL I did tourist only - having all the checklisted stuff ready is a must.
