Does anyone recommend a legal aide to fill out the pre-classification documents online for importing? It is the "preclass online" section of this page. Thank you!

applied dtv soft power-medical online at thai embassy washdc on 3/10. received dtv on 3/14. used: 1. most recent credit union monthly statement, all pages. 2. official, chopped & signed, initial appointment letter from bnh diagnostics center. i have some chronic knee injuries that need ongoing treatment. 3. the rest of the required documents per thai evisa website. i also offered evidence of alot more $, my worldwide medical insurance documents and a cover letter but my atty demurred.

cost: $300 initial medical appt, $400 evisa fee, $400 atty fee. i retained an atty because i needed fast & sound advice (which i certainly received), and proper application formatting. money well spent on an atty for something important to me. i wasted way too much time worrying and researching on my own.

good luck all.

Hi folks, I am a UK Citizen and have lived in Bangkok for over a year. I am having a lot of trouble getting my 'DWP Proof of Life certificate' signed.

So far I have tried the police station, my bank, my pharmacist and even the Tax Office where I pay my taxes, but no one wants to sign it for me.

It doesn't help that it is written in English and the people I have asked are unable to read it.

I have translated it to Thai via Google App Translator, but that does not seem to have helped any.

They have all told me that they are afraid to sign it in case they get into trouble.

It would really be helpful if we could just take it to the British Embassy, but I have heard that they would not sign it for me.

Any assistance or advice anyone could give me would truly be appreciated

Any helpful folks here based in Ubon Ratchathani? My wife's father passed there 20+ years ago. Now they have need for the death certificate (who wants to be the first wag to say "they should have gotten a copy when it happened?" 555) and are convinced we need to run the whole clan there Beverly Hillbilly style. I am of the opinion that with lawyers and fax machines or whatever that this is solvable without travel.

So my question is... Does anyone have a lawyer referral in that city that might be able to help?

I am in search of a lawyer in Thailand that could possibly help me. I had an accident while I was in Thailand for 2 months at the beginning of the year that has left me partially disabled. I was on a liveaboard diving boat when I got decompression sickness. Because my dive was routine (according to the dive computer) the owners of the boat refused to believe that I had decompression sickness. I pleaded with them to get me off of the boat, they refused to believe I had DCS they kept insisting it was just a pinched nerve in my spine. They refused to get me off of the boat and to medical treatment the dive accident happened in the early morning and they did not get me off of the boat until the early evening despite my pleas. This delay in getting me treatment has now left me with permanent damage to my spinal cord. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital with severe decompression sickness and 50 hours in the hyperbaric chamber there. If anyone could possibly recommend a lawyer who could possibly help me with this that would be very much appreciated.

Hello everyone, and may all be well with you

a few questions:

Do you help to get a work visa, can you recommend a local lawyer?

Has anyone done a work visa themselves?

According to my calculations, the cost is about 110,000 for a family of three. If anyone has any experience, please share
