Hi , can I get advice please, I exited Thailand on 23-3-25 after a eight month stay , (broken up by a boarder run and two weeks in Vietnam) so in that eight month period I was in Thailand for over seven months …. I was told by immigration I cannot re-enter Thailand for a six month period….. I’m now in The Philippines wanting to book a trip to London / Heathrow,, nearly all the flights go via Bangkok ,, self transfer ….. Will I be allowed to enter Thailand as technically I have to go through customs to claim my baggage to rebook on connecting flight ?? TIA..
Customs Duty - Does anyone know what personal possessions items (arrived by sea in container) duty is applicable to for someone who arrives from UK on a non-immigrant O visa with the intention of retiring? I thought I read somewhere that there is a very small list of items to which duty applies but customs seem to be charging duty on everything. Customs in Bangkok were provide my passport which shows the non-O stamp on it.
Poss a dumb question but just so I know, I have a 60/90 day E-Visa downloaded and printed ready for going back next month, at immigration do I simply present passport and either printed copy or show download, io looks it up and makes appropriate stamp on passport?
I am leaving Thailand for home. My trip goes from CM to BKK and on to Tokyo. My layover in BKK is 10 hrs so I have opted for an airport pod.
Two questions,
When I get to the airport in Chiang Mai can I put my luggage in the system and pick up my bags at home.
Second question. I don't want to go through immigration in Chiang Mai since I will have to go to the lower level of the BKK terminal and sleep. I hope to bypass immigration and travel on the plane to another city in Thailand and, in the morning, go through customs and be on my way home. I have six month visa with multiple entry (expires April,) but I will not be leaving Thailand for 12 hrs after I get to Bangkok. In the past, when I left CM, I was leaving the country. Thank you to whoever can answer my questions
I'm looking to break up my international flights into two. I would fly internationally into a Bangkok airport and then fly out of Bangkok on another international flight a few hours later. I will not leave the airport, or even the international terminal. Just a short layover between the two international flights.
Hi a question I’m going to Penang for a couple of weeks and I’m on the multi entry retirement visa. I know I have to go to the local immigraton with my Tm30 when I get back to Chiang Mai. But do I need to fill in any forms at the airport customs when I’m coming though or just go through and get my passport stamped.
