I'm travelling from the the UK early next year and intend to stay for 86 days, using my 60 day visa exemption and then extending for a further 30 days. I know I'll need an onward ticket within the 60 days in case the airline asks for it but what documents will I need to take to the immigration office when I extend?
Hi, I am planning another visit to Thailand. The last time I entered the country I was told that I need a tourist visa from now on.
Of course I also need information about the flight etc. for the application. As I don't want to risk being stuck with the costs if my application is rejected, I came up with the idea of providing an (fake) onward ticket. Is this a daft idea?
I'm returning to Thailand at the end of this month or early July and staying for between 6 and 8 weeks.
The cost of flights direct with a Flexi ticket has increased to the point where I would like to get a single too Bangkok from Heathrow then when I know my return date I'll book another single back to the UK. which works out much cheaper than a return FLEXI ticket.
My question is does anyone know what is the cheapest way I can leave Thailand with a bus ticket or flight from Bangkok without actually having to use it to show the authorities that my intention is not to stay in Thailand for a long time. I understand the moral implications however I am quite genuine and just want to save some money and satisfying Buddha control that I've intend returning
Got my Non O visa approval today. Does it start the day I enter Thailand. Will I need an onward ticket. Thank you everyone for the information that has gotten me this far.
Hello; new here and hopefully this is a simple question. US citizens, first visit to Thailand, arriving by air to BKK 1/11/2026 staying until 1/31/2026 flying to Luang Prabang from Chiang Mai and flying back to Chiang Mai on 2/5/2026 with plans to visit the southern area of Thailand for at least three weeks. Have not booked our departure flight out of BKK to Hanoi yet. On the government website, what would be the correct tourist visa to apply for? When we fly to Laos and back, does that "reset" the clock? Will we need to show our onward ticket to Hanoi, or somewhere else outside of Thailand? Thanks.
Anyone has experience flying to Thailand with Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa or Austrian)? I am asking precisely about onward ticket, if they usually ask for it if you have one-way ticket booked.
