Hello! We are looking to come to Thailand for 3-6 months in the new year. We are from Canada and we’re wondering if we will have trouble getting our visas?

And how long before we go do we apply for them? We’re not to sure if we should book tickets first or after applying for the visa

My husband is self employed and I will be quitting my job to travel next year.

I am applying for a tourist visa to Thailand from Canada and am wondering if I can leave and re-enter a couple of times to get my visa re- stamped for an additional 2 months without a multiple entry visa. I heard you can leave and get a separate re-entry permit each time before you cross the border for only 1000 baht, instead of paying 280 dollars for a multi entry. Anyone familiar with this situation?

I tried to read some of your questions and didn't find an answer for me.

I have two questions :

1) Can I come in Bangkok (or any other interesting Cities in Thailand) without Visa in the next weeks ?

2) I want to stay live there, few months minimum at least.

I've heard about STV, but it seems like coming from Canada doesn't allow me to apply for the Visa.

What Visa can I have just to stay there few months ?

No need to work for now, I'll be doing my little business online.

I just want to come ASAP, but properly and do all is needed.

If I plan on visiting Thailand on a Multiple Entry tourist visa - for say 6 months, do I need a return airplane ticket. I think it maybe too early to get the departure ticket right now. (Want to come Around Dec. 1 from Canada)
