I’m assuming you mean consulate, not embassy. There is only one embassy and it is in D.C. There are regional consulates. You can use your regional consulate for handling visas. The consulate should not need to be in the region of your residence, but wherever you begin the process, you will need to do all follow-up with the same consulate.

I’d say it’s likely. On the other hand, if he were legit (again, not likely), why would he respond given all the nasty comments here. I’m so tired of this group.

I think that could be said of someone who spends his time attacking others on the internet

I will just say that I hope you can find happiness in some other way than trying to make other people unhappy.

Are you serious? Do you even know what a troll is? You’re the one who is attacking someone for not wanting to pay thousands of dollars and expose themselves to completely unnecessary radiation. I can’t speak for Chris, but as a two-time cancer survivor, I certainly would not want to do this either. I’m glad he is asking the question, so please go away, TROLL!

I know that. I was saying I wanted more information on what one needs to do due to COVID, but thank you for thinking I am not over 50 🙂

This is just silly. High risk or not high risk should decide if one can enter. Length of quarantine should be dependent on the science of the virus. This sounds more political than anything else.
