I am currently in my first one-year extension of a non-immigrant O retirement visa. I kept 800k balance for 3 months after receiving the extension, and it has dropped below that but remained above 400k since then.
I have also been transferring 65k+ every month since the start of the extension.
My question is whether i need to bring the balance back up to 800k for 2 months or 3 months before applying for the next extension, or can it remain 400k+ and rely on the past 12 months of 65k transfers?
I'm having trouble getting a definitive answer for this. I was just at Chaeng Watthana immigration to do a 90 day report and just can't seem to find the right person to give me the information.
I am still maintaining 500,000 baht in my bank balance. I want to make a soft power dtv visa. I am looking for a reliable company to help me with this.
I have not approved for the dtv visa yet because I was wondering if I have to always keep 15000 in my bank account in order to renew my visa or is it just the first time applying
Hello everyone! I need to extend my retirement visa in Chiang Mai before September 28. If I plan to submit my application on September 10, do I need to ensure my bank account balance exceeds 800,000 THB by July 11 (two months prior) or by June 11 (three months prior)? Thank you for your assistance!
I’m currently in Phuket on an OA retirement visa. Phuket immigration allows a combination of 400000b bank balance plus monthly pension payments of at least 400000b to give the required 800000b total. Do the same rules apply elsewhere? I will shortly be moving to Trang province and I’m not sure.
Hey all! My husband and I are hoping to get the DTV visa. Does anyone know how long the 500k baht has to stay in the bank before applying? Also, do most people just apply themselves online or use a lawyer? I've tried to meet with a few and I've felt a bit scammed honestly...Thanks in advance!!
So DTV for Thailand looks like our best option. Thank you all for your help! Quick question: is 500,000 Thai baht bank balance sufficient to apply for a husband with his spouse as a dependent, or do you need to double the bank balance to 1 million Thai baht for 3 months?
Are there any Indians here who have applied for DTV Soft Power from Jakarta? I'm planning to apply from Jakarta in the 1st week of April. How was your experience? Did they ask for "detail on sources of income"? Did you have 500k THB in your account for more than 3 months?
For context, my previous visa application was cancelled by New Delhi Embassy after additional documentation request about "sources of income" thing. I got no response to my calls and emails asking for the reason for cancellation. Unfortunately, I couldn't visit the embassy in person. ([members only]/)
I have been maintaining over 600k THB balance in my Indian bank account since March 6 and applying for DTV Soft Power with Muay Thai classes. Thanks to my stupidity, balance dipped just under 500k on March 5th because of auto-pay and currency fluctuations. I'm currently in Thailand and will be flying to Jakarta in April. I'd love to be back in Thailand before May with DTV.
