Are there any Indians here who have applied for DTV Soft Power from Jakarta? I'm planning to apply from Jakarta in the 1st week of April. How was your experience? Did they ask for "detail on sources of income"? Did you have 500k THB in your account for more than 3 months?
For context, my previous visa application was cancelled by New Delhi Embassy after additional documentation request about "sources of income" thing. I got no response to my calls and emails asking for the reason for cancellation. Unfortunately, I couldn't visit the embassy in person. ([members only]/)
I have been maintaining over 600k THB balance in my Indian bank account since March 6 and applying for DTV Soft Power with Muay Thai classes. Thanks to my stupidity, balance dipped just under 500k on March 5th because of auto-pay and currency fluctuations. I'm currently in Thailand and will be flying to Jakarta in April. I'd love to be back in Thailand before May with DTV.
Applying for an O extension at Cheang Watthana today and was told to come back for this reason:
my visa expires on march 28. I was able to book an appointment for today, the 17th. I got my bank balance up to 800k on January 24, 2 months and a few days to season or so I thought. I did not know 2 months seasoning is calculated back from the day you’re at immigration to ask for an extension, NOT 2 months back from the day your visa expires. I have to go back March 24-28.
Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before but in regards to DTV visa and the 500k baht bank balance.
I’ve seen conflicting answers to how long needs to show in your bank account. Varying between just current balance up to 6 months and also that it depends on which country you’re visiting the embassy in.
Flying into HCMC this Thursday to apply for the DTV freelancer visa. I have all my documents in order however I'm hearing mixed reports on the min balance of 500,000 baht requirement. Apparently it's getting more difficult there recently.
I have the balance in my bank account as of the end of January. I will only have last month's statement showing 500,000 baht and about 100,000baht for the previous 5 months.
If I wait a couple of days after i get to HCMC I could provide a second month with the balance for March when my monthly statements are issued, but would prefer to apply right away if it doesn't make a difference.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? Or is it hit or miss at the moment? Any advice?
I have to renew my Visa based on my marriage with a thai wife very soon.
6 on this month I will still have 30 days before the VISA expire so I planned to go that date, but the 400k on the bank account is not exactly blocked for 2 months at this date but it will on 10 this month... So should I go 10 march to renew my VISA to have exactly 2 months at 400k on my bank statements or 6 march is ok ? Thank you
Hello all, my wife and i are planning to move to phuket. She will work from home for an american hospital. I will not work as we will also have an income from 2 rental properties. Our plan is she gets the remote worker visa and that says it applies to spouse and kids. Do we need to show a bank balance of $30k or something first to be approved? Thanks in advance!
Guys, I see a lot of confusion about this: do you have to have the minimum 500,000 THB for at least 1 month? 3 months? or 6 months? I can prove a good flow of income for the last 2 years. But 5 months ago I made an investment and I no longer had that minimum amount. However, I have had at least 500,000 baht in the bank for exactly 3 months, and now I have even more. Do you think I could have a problem because 4 months ago I did not have the minimum?
