Do Thai embassies and consulates in the US cover specific areas, or can I visit any location for assistance?

TLDR : Answer Summary
In the US, each Thai consulate is responsible for specific states, and while the main embassy in Washington DC is the starting point for many inquiries, cases may be referred to the appropriate regional consulate. It is recommended to contact the relevant consulate for assistance based on your location.

I’m assuming you mean consulate, not embassy. There is only one embassy and it is in D.C. There are regional consulates. You can use your regional consulate for handling visas. The consulate should not need to be in the region of your residence, but wherever you begin the process, you will need to do all follow-up with the same consulate.

Travel to Bahrain without quarantine to apply.

Contact embassy below

They will help you, Dubai will only assist residents.

Other alternative is Maldives- no quarantine required, the embassy in Colombo will assist.

Contact Maldives consulate first.

Good luck

Map provided should answer your question. I don’t know if they still do this but last time for me everything was done online and through the mail. Early days when I lived in L A just went to the consulate and done in one day.

For the US, everything starts with the Washington DC Embassy, and then they refer your case to the correct regional consulate if necessary.

They are now processing single entry tourist visas (TR) (different from the STV) through the Thai Embassy Washington DC. This is a new policy and has just started around the world in the last few weeks. Includes other high risk countries such as UK, France, Canada etc. You can check each Thai Embassy website to see if it's being offered in your country.

People from the United States have been able to travel to Thailand as long as they have an existing Visa and they have a Thailand family to come home to. Several guys have left and gone through quarantine and made it home the only people that are not allowed to travel are tourists

Yes it is sad that Thailand has decided to block tourists 21 million tie citizens without employment out of 70 million Thailand Citizens. This military regime has no idea what it’s doing. They have cut off one hand and 1 foot and they don’t even know what happened. Before they’re finished they will be a quadriplegic and wonder what the hell just happened

ok so 29 % of population is under 14 or over 65.

************************************************

Allowing for university students and those in trade school that leaves approximatly 40 million people of employable age.

The current figures as of Nov 4 is unemployment at 0.8 % your figures of 21 million unemployed would put unemployment at over 50 % cannot be bothered to do exact calculations as your figures are in lala land

So Children and retired account for about say 20 million out of 70 i will go and check that out now.

That means you think Thailand has 40 % unemployment
