You can transfer as mentioned or sell your car and transfer the proceeds. Good idea to show one account with business income, the other with the 500k.

They will ask for more docs if they require. Rejections given for things like name mismatch. You pay in full again if rejected

You can fly to Thailand from Japan. Not much difference between Hanoi and HCMC. Do you have 6 months plus course booked?

You can use ChatGP to create your employment certificate. It just details your role, duration of self-employment, salary etc. Where are you applying? authentication not required at many embassies.

Majority will not have paid tax on a DTV. 2026 will be the year when most are due to pay if needed. Some DTVERS reported getting a TIN, posts should be in the threads.

Is it difficult to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) while in Taiwan?

I think they mean that the Trade and Economic office in Taipei uses the authority of the Thai Embassy in Manilla to issue Thai visas. It is not an official consulate. Manilla Embassy stamp is found on paperwork issued from there.Does not make much difference to administration as Taipei still issues DTV in a day.
