It's going to be packed this Wednesday and Tuesday next week as those are both days straddling a 5 day closure of immigration.

Immigration is closed Thursday, Friday and Monday the 13th, 14th and 17th for Songkran!

Take this as your warning/reminder!!

2nd extension of stay.

The 1st extension of stay from my non-O visa will expire on 1 May 2023. My next 90-day report is due on 26 February 2023.

I'm planning a trip out of Thailand from February to March. I'm in Chiang Mai and I have a UK passport.

What is the earliest date I could do the 90-day report and get the re-entry permit to leave in February?

Should I apply for my second extension of stay before or after the Songkran holiday when I return at the end of March / beginning of April?

Can anyone clarify the operation hours of the immigration office in Bangkok during Songkran? Is it open on Monday the 18th? What are the opening hours?🙏

SONGKRAN HOLIDAY CLOSURE**

Today is the last day ALL Immigration offices in thailand are open.

They will close at 4:30PM and not re-open until Monday the 18th.

IF you have a stamp that is expiring on a day the immigration office is closed (weekendz/holidayz)

AND

you go the very next day they're open you can apply for your extension like normal.

You will not be charged for overstay. You will however get an overstay stamp in your passport (it will say overstay fine waived due to holiday)

is it true that rhe location for visa extension (visa-exempt) at Muang Thong Thani counter K has been moved to some shopping mall beginning April 18, or is this false information?

If my retirement visa Non o immigrant 12 month extension expires on the 17th April 2022 is it ok to renew it when I get back to Thailand on the 15th April when I return to Thailand or better to renew it now before I leave Thailand next week ?

My current visa runs out on the 16th of april. I am waiting to see if the covid extensions are continued before making my next move. My visa ends during songkran here. Are the immigration offices closed during songkran? Thanks

Will Chaeng Wattana immigration be open 13-15 April, given the revision to official Songkran holiday?

They will NOT be closed the 13-14-15 for the Songkran Holiday as that has been postponed.

I will go to immigration for a check in sometime between April 25-27 any recommendations on what day would be best?
