oh sure. I mentioned this in my previous post (health insurance). I am also wondering if there is a feedback form/link that go to immigration dept. The idea is to encourage immigration to give quality services, recognize offices that are giving good services.
Unfortunately, this police order does not help, according to chiang mai immigration officer. According to them, this police order only apply if you have entered before Oct 2019. But if one leave, and re-enter after Oct 2019, the thai 'approved' health insurance requirement apply. Just for information, health insurance premium, most basic, with maximal deductible, 'approved' for O-A visas, start at 13,000 Baht (pacific cross; may be others).
. I assume i could print this and show it to officer at immigration office in chiang mai. Also, carry a hard copy with me for my next trip out of thailand.
On a related note: despite the new visa requirement issue, i found the staff/service at chiang mai immigration office to be exemplary very effective (fast), and courteous. Very impressed!
