What are the requirements for obtaining medical clearance for a Non-Immigrant O-A visa at the Thai consulate in Los Angeles?
Suggestions for getting 'medical clearance' for non-immigrant O-A visa? Does one have to take all the medical tests requested ... and there are many! I am in Oakland, California and will apply at Thai consulate in LA.
Answer summary
To obtain medical clearance for a Non-Immigrant O-A visa, you must submit a medical certificate form to your healthcare provider. The process may vary: some doctors might require you to undergo specific medical tests, while others may only need to sign the form based on your health status. It's advisable to check with your doctor beforehand and review the medical certificate form available on the Thai consulate's website.

Also, Labcorp did all my blood tests over many years. They may be able to do some of the tests.

down load the form, take it to your doctor and see what they will decide to do.
Some DO make you do testing, some just sign the form.. That's totally up to your health care provider.

I am from El Cerrito. I dropped off the form at my doctor’s office, he signed it, and I picked it up the next day. Didn’t even see him. I have had the same doctor for 30 years so he knew my health status. Check with your doctor. Ask what they can do.
