Experience on health insurance requirements for long term visa. I decided to purchase an 'immigration approved' thai insurance. It took a day from paying insurance, to receiving the insurance certificate by email (pacific cross). After i have shown insurance certificate to Chiang Mai immigration, they stamped me for year from my last entry in Thailand. (thank you for all the input/guidance!)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience purchasing 'immigration approved' Thai health insurance for a long-term visa (O-A). After paying for the insurance from Pacific Cross, they received the certificate via email within a day. They presented this certificate to the Chiang Mai immigration office and received a one-year stamp on their visa, confirming their successful compliance with the health insurance requirement.

Thank you for your update.

I have removed a comment posted in reply which complained about the health insurance requirement.

The OP met the requirements and now has his O-A Visa with full year permission to stay as retired in Thailand
