Are you on Non-O or Non- OA? Reason I ask is that you are holding up the Non-OA requirements which required insurance.

1. Extend for 30 days for 1900 baht at your local immigration office

2. Border bounce when the 30

day extension has expired

3. Check with your airline that they will allow you to board without an onward or return journey within 45 days.

You could try applying for 60

day tourist visa which is extendable for 30 days if you have time before you fly.

When I applied for my retirement non o visa last year from the Thai embassy in London, I needed to upload 90 days health insurance certificate of 400,,000 baht inpatient/outpatient treatment. Insurance needs to start the day you land.

non o gives him 3 months unless he goes for the yearly extension which requires 800k transferred in Thai bank account . He needs 6 months.
