TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is applying for a Non-O visa from the UK and is seeking clarification on what to upload for the declaration form and the requirements for health insurance. Comments reveal mixed opinions on insurance; some users state it is needed, while others assert it is not required for the visa. Suggestions include uploading UK travel insurance or a memo stating that insurance is not applicable. Users also emphasize the need to provide specific documentation as outlined by the Thai embassy.

Upload this memo from the UK Thai Embassy for the insurance. It's NOT 🚫 needed for the Non O Visa.

James Miller some friends just moved there on a 90 day visa and they say they had to take out insurance. How do you get around it if the visa website asks for it ? Thanks

@Glyn *******
upload the memo from the UK Thai Embassy. It works for the UK applicants

An option for questions that are required but truly not applicable is to write “not applicable” on a piece of paper and upload a photo of it

thanks, certainly will try that.

As James said, you upload that memo for the insurance question

I got my non-O from UK last month. They do say that insurance is not required but in the application, there is still a requirement to upload insurance details. Doesn't make much sense, I know, but I just uploaded my UK travel insurance details anyway. Nothing about inpatient/outpatient nonsense. It worked for me.

I believe you do need insurance to get the Non-O in the UK. You don't need it to get the Non-O inside Thailand.

You need to download the declaration form from the link in that field (No.3).

If you are sure insurance is not required, make a picture saying something like "not applicable" and upload it.

This is not the London embassy site, but you can refer this information

,000 baht inpatient/outpatient treatment. Insurance needs to start the day you land.
