Send them an email or call, ask them if they need additional information and remind them that your flight is set to depart on whatever day. Ask them if they think you will have it in time. Up to you if you change pay to change your flight or lose the money and pay again at a nearby embassy.

apparently other embassies are starting to request certified statements. Someone was denied in Laos because the translated bank statement and another document were not notarized. There was another individual in the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) was also having issues with the embassy in KL. I'd double check the embassy site for Taipei and Jakarta to make sure they haven't tightened up requirements before you go.

this is incorrect and bad advice. When you start the e-visa it asks your location and advises if you can use the system or not. Vietnam is not on the e-visa system as of yet. As

states, he is not in his home country so is not able to use the e-visa site for that location... unless he falsifies information and lies about his location. If that is discovered his visa would be denied and he would be out the visa fee. It would not help the OP at all since the actual paper application is different then the online one.

Canadian also. We were told it has to be accessible in a bank account. You can confirm with the Vancouver consulate or Ottawa embassy.

If you don't have notifications from your bank or credit card, you should have a receipt in your email showing payment was accepted. It shows a e-receipt for your e-visa.

Nico Tean were you in Greece when you applied? Did they use the e-visa system? If not then you/they falsified information. At the beginning of the e-visa process they ask your location and advise if you can apply there. The declaration you sign at the end of the process confirms you verify your information is accurate and correct... which it wouldn't be if you state you are somewhere you aren't. Only certain embassies allow their citizens to use the e-visa system while out of country. You do you, but it's a risk of they question your location and ask for proof of entry and exit which has been reported being requested in other groups.

The DTV is for remote workers, digital nomads and soft power like medical treatments, Muay Thai and cooking. Being married to a Thai is irrelevant in this case

it depends on the embassy you apply at but the majority wants to see it in an easily accessible bank account and won't accept crypto or a portfolio. Basically showing you can support yourself. There is a lot of info out there and a lot of misinformation. Join the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) group and have a read. Agree with everyone saying to come here for a while first.. you can look at visa exempt for 90 days total. Or the METV which, is used properly can get you close to 9 months.

Manitoba and west is Vancouver, everywhere else is Ottawa. We were in Alberta so used Vancouver. My husband had his approved in 2 hours and my dependent took about 24hrs.

$650CAD in Canada. Every Embassy charges different amounts and NZ is the most expensive.
