TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported an issue with their Thai visa application, where they were unable to proceed to payment after submitting required documents, despite being given a reference number. Community members noted that if additional documents were requested, it likely indicates that payment had already been processed. There were suggestions to check for a 'Check Status' link on the website, and the importance of having payment confirmation from the bank or email was highlighted. Others shared their past experiences and confirmed the non-refundable nature of the visa application fee.

bank advised $650 cleared so I cannot get my money back if visa not granted. Normally when pending they put a hold on the money only.

If you don't have notifications from your bank or credit card, you should have a receipt in your email showing payment was accepted. It shows a e-receipt for your e-visa.

Do you see the barely visible “Ch”? That actually says “Check Status”. If you can click it, you should be able to see your applications. You may be having a problem with your screen size. You may want to try a different browser, but perhaps just clicking that spot will get you to the right spot.

Meanwhile, multiple people have mentioned that you were asked after your application for additional documents. Somehow, I’m not seeing that in your post. Were you emailed that request or was that on the website?

ahhh. I did not see that in your post. You should be good then. You can track your status at the “Check status” link.

If they've asked for more documents then you've paid. They won't touch the application until you have paid.
John *******
You had to have already paid, since someone has been reviewing your application already and informing you that you need additional docs. If you hadn’t already paid, no one would even look at it.

If you got to the point where they asked you for extra documents, then you already paid previously.
