Joseph Phrogus every time l leave the UK at least the past 4 years as my return ticket is longer than the visa exempt. I have been asked for an onward booking

Most airlines won't check you in unless you have an outward bound within your Visa even Visa exempt. So that means you're better as said previously booking a cheap flight to neighbouring countries within the 60 days. The airline are more worried that if you are refused entry. It's their responsibility to fly you back to where you boarded.

Have you ask you present holiday insurance if you can extend another month l did this 2 weeks ago while l'm here in Thailand. I emailed them first and unfortunately had to phone them in the UK but they extended from 2 months to 3. It worth a try.

Ian Morrison my only query was if you bought a 60 day TV, do immigration look at you more favourable why applying for a 30 day extension. I know it's the individual officer's final say
