Yes you must be an Indian resident to apply. The website is very much Evisa based.

And how many of these single entry Non O visas has he had? Like the Non B, ED visas etc, they will not keep on issuing them time after time.

They won't transfer the visa. You show the old passport and get stamped in on the new passport if your getting a new passport in the UK.

You'll need to carry the old passport all the time the visa is valid. Visas are never transferred. Only entry stamps, extensions of stay and reentry permits are transferred

One thing IS for sure. There is a whole new ball game opening up when it comes to being able to fly to Thailand with remarks in a passport or on a visa.

Seems to be a new one, the airline not allowing him to fly out due to the cancelled visa? Perhaps they have had enough of flying people back again.

Perhaps they are wanting to see a confirmed ticket OUT of Thailand?
