@David ******
the country is police report mad. I had to do one for a lost electric meter deposit receipt when I sold a condo so the buyer could get the electric put on. I think it was 20 baht and half a day out of my life messing around.

Oh and some want a TM30 to of been filed. I've no idea on the requirements at Samui.
Ron *******
That depends on each immigration office. Some want a police report for a lost TM6.

I'd have a guess shouting in the immigration hall, probably isn't going to achieve anything.

We know what the rules are but thanks for pointing it out. Now, if you would be kind enough to point out posts where individuals were asked for 10,000 baht, that would be nice of you.

Other than that, carrying 10,000 baht when you asked to show 20,000 baht, as those are when asked, will likely get you a denial of entry.

Maybe somebody could call and ask them if it's still possible? I'm not doing it. I hate them there 😂

I cannot find the post and I'm struggling to get the search function to work on my phone to find the report.

I tried to do it for someone a couple of weeks back and continually got the contact immigration message. He's been reporting there for years. Next time I go there, I'll attempt to get a definitive answer from them and report back
