Entry into Don Mueang back from a week in Vietnam. I/O never even looked up from her desk, but did ask for the DTV Visa.

Hey all - what is the best, in your opinion, fast track at main airport, have a colleague coming over and he is limited on time to get to DM airport ie only has 4.5 hours so wanted me to advise on FT services available.

DTV arrival: Landed at Don Mueang today coming from Da Nang Vietnam. First time using the DTV. Was hassle free. Immigration officer asked me no questions. I gave my passport printed evisa and boarding ticket, got the stamp and on my way.

Is there still a free shuttle bus from Suvarnabhumi to Don Mauang airport.

Between gate 3-4 if I remember.

And everything else question please: when transiting through Don Mueang on 2 domestic flights without checked baggage do you need to exit and then check in again with the general public, or is there any transit desk airside where you can check in for the second flight ?

My flight is 6am, I have been told the office is open 24 hours but could someone please confirm this is the case? Hey y'all, just an update on my trip to Laos for visa exempt. It was not necessary to go with dollars because they accept thai baht at Wattay Airport in Vientiane (this detail is not specified in the website). Vientiane is a great city, I really liked it. A nice mix of east and west. In case anyone is interested, they have cool vegan restaurants there. I stayed in a very comfortable and affordable airbnb called Villa de Mekong. I bought the onward ticket but they didn't even ask for it at Don Mueang Airport. Anyway, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Thanks for all of your advice and suggestions! I'm going to get an extension on my visa exempt and stay until the end of April.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I am flying to Laos tomorrow to visit Vientiane and to get a Visa exempt coming back to Thailand. Can you please tell me if I can exchange euros to dollars at the Don Mueang Airport? I knew I could get a visa on arrival in Vientiane however I didn't realise until yesterday that they only accept US$. I'll be in Bangkok this afternoon so perhaps I can look for a SuperRich somewhere near my hotel, too (Sukumvit area). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks and have a great day!
