If you are not looking to work in Thailand again then yes you can just exit the country no problem at all. However if you wish to work in Thailand again you will have go through a long process to re correct your exit upon application of your next work permit/visa
if you get an METV you need to book a flight out within the 90 day period (60 days from visa and 30 day extension at the embassy) you will need to leave the country at least once to get 6 months from your visa. If you want to stay for 9 you will be leaving the country twice. Malaysia by air or by anywhere by land is the easiest.
, sorry for sounding stupid but i cant get my head around it. People get a new non 0 visa every 3 months and leave the country to apply and just repeat this process? (Not doing the 90 day and therefore dont have to show funds) I really dont want to transfer 400,000 bht from my UK account as with the £/bht i just see this as throwing money into the wind. After you get this 3 month visa dont you have to go to change it at immigration for a 12 month where you have to show funds at that point? Sorry to sound stupid just trying to find the right thing to do :)
yes I have another ten years to go for that 555 yes obviously I need to secure a different visa by the time this one ends in another 5-7 months. Elite is not the way to go though for me as I wouldn’t be prepared to pay that for staying here with how things are at the moment. Marriage or get a job or start a business are my only options long term if I decide to settle here.
so what am I? I have had the correct visas/wp for over 5 years. However now I want to relax and appreciate life I should be treated differently? I’ve only had a tourist visa for three months.
