Can I Get a 2-Month Visa Based on Marriage Before the Grace Period Ends?

Hi all, i was on an METV which has now come to an end within the covid visa grace period. I was planning on getting my marriage visa in savanakhet before all this happened and now obviously that’s not an option currently until a few months down the line. My question is can I get the 2 month “visa” based on marriage before the grace period ends on July 31st? As I’m unsure as my visa expired within the covid grace period i don’t have a physical stamp. Thanks in advance 😊

It's up to the immigration office. I believe you can get a 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family. Each immigration office has their own requirements, but generally they would require:

1. Your wife

2. Your wife's original and front/back copy of ID card

3. The original marriage certificate and front and back copy

4. Your passport

5. Copy of the passport picture page, and the entry stamp

6. Two passport size photos

7. 1,900 THB.
