Does the insurance cover you in Thailand or not?

That's your answer. ;)

It depends on your bank I guess. But every bank I've ever been with allowed me to download my current statement until today (well, every bank after the internet was invented).

Are you suer you cannot do this? If so, I'd just wait until the beginning of the month but it seems bothersome. 🙁

Google is your friend. ;)

Go for it. One country doesn't care what the other does. 🙂 You'll be fine, if you have both vias.

From my email correspondance with them, that's all you need. I even sent my documents via email and asked if that's fine and they said yes. I'll probably go next week myself (to Taipei - I live in Kaoshiung at the moment).

Let me know how it went. 🙂

Did you apply in Taipei? I sent them my bank statement via email, asking if it's fine. It was literally just for the past three days, showign >500k THB and they said it's fine. 🙂

I heard that term before too, but how is it different from a work contract? Isn't that what defines the employment? 🙂

Thank you for the insights. I would love to add some questions as I'm currently in Kaoshiung and planning to take a train to Taipei for a couple days later this month to also get a DTV. 🙂

Are you self-employed? If so, did you just write a simple work contract?

I'm running an LLC in Dubai and am wondering if the company formation and MOA (shoring that I'm the owner and only shareholder) is enough. Writing a contract for myself seems kinda silly. 😃

Do you know if they only care about the current bank balance? I haven't kept 500k THB in my account and would only transfer that from my company over this week so that I can show it. But it would be only recent, not for multiple months.

Thanks again! 🙂
