Couldn't find anything wrong with my answer, so no you're trying to attack differently?
The TA didn't ask if it's necessary but instead asked about what's considered covered. Every embassy is different. Maybe theirs asked for insurance, even though it's not officially documented.
Same goes with bank statements. Some embassies want multiple months, others only want the current balance.
Let's just focus on the actual question that is asked and not fight about unrelated ones, shall we? ;)
Thanks for claryfing. Now I remember I once requested a statement of salary where they also included that I'm currently employed an such. It had a different name but I think that's what one would desribe as a 'certificate of employment' (even though the term 'certificate' is kinda funny for a document with a couple lines of text saying I work there haha). I think that's the closest I can think of. Which is indeed different from my employment contract. 🙂
The Taipei embassy told me, if I show the business licence for the company in my name, it's enough. So I'm kinda lucky I suppose. 🙂
Except that it is in that case. Thailand wants to see coverage in Thailand. If your insurance covers Thailand and you have a document stating that fact, then Thailand will be happy.
Repeating yourself doesn't make it true. lol Keep telling yourself it's a tourist visa, I'm ok with that. It's a 'workation' visa, which is something very different from a tourst.
Who talks about that? 😃 The question was specifically about Thailand and Bali. Of course my statement is not generically true for any combination of any two countries on the whole planet. 😉
Isn't the idea that you're actually not in Thailand since you have to apply from outside the country? So, my assumption would be, no one cares about lease or TM30, no? I might be wrong, just from what I understand.
I won't show a lease or TM30 since I'm not in Thailand. 🙂
