It was very very easy in Jakarta. Walk in, no appointment.

I provided Passport, bank statement and appointment pdf from hospital.

Applied a Monday morning, pick up Thursday afternoon.

Anonymous participant id be surprised if you don’t qualify, but it can vary allot from embassy to embassy (or consulate). The usually look for contracts with clients for verification.

Otherwise the medical DTV route is very easy if you have any medical issues.

i would usually agree, but in this case you end up with a airasia booking ref and can make any ad ons etc directly with Airasia
