Entry stamp should be fine. If they ask for hotel booking either make one of get some sort of signed letter from you pal to upload

Why not link it to your normal account/Revolut/Wise as then u can still use in Thailand to send & receive funds

Contact your payment provider maybe? Do you have card linked to the phone number u are using? I had to enter a code they sent to phone so maybe that is the issue

Shouldnt be an issue but if worried just send them the balance page and In/Out section, so first page of statement basically. That was sufficient for Hanoi with my application
