So I’ve been asked to provide flight documents to attach to my DTV application.

I’m hesitant to do so because there’s no guarantee my application will be approved, and I may want to travel a month or so later than the date I originally mentioned.

A few questions:

1. What’s the risk if I arrive a few weeks or even a month later than the date stated in my application? Will this cause any issues with approval or entry?

2. Why isn’t the flight number I found for the same date which I included in the application form not sufficient?

3. Has anyone else received this request before, and how did you handle it if your travel dates weren’t confirmed yet?

4. Do I need to book a return flight?

Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences.

Hey, I have to be back on 07/12 to Chiang Mai but I have applied in Hanoi for the DTV. I wanted to ask you, if I get approved or get asked for more documents when I am in Thailand, will it be a problem for me? Will I get denied because of coming back to Thailand before getting approved?

Entering Thailand during the application process?

I am outside of Thailand right now but will enter Thailand soon (on visa exemption). Can I apply now although I will most probably be inside Thailand at the time the embassy in this other country would approve it or do I need to stay outside Thailand during the whole process?

Thanks!

Hello everyone

We started the process for K1 visa for my better half. Haha but the wait time is 14 months. I came back to the USA to buy us a house to live in. I’m now thinking of coming back to Thailand for the remaining K1 visa wait. I was wondering would it hurt that I have no job in USA for us when we come to the USA My retirement meets all the money requirements of the visa.

Thoughts anyone

Hi look forward to your advice. I will need to apply for a new TR visa soon and plan to do it in Vientiane. This would be my 3rd TR visa and 2nd time to apply in Vientiane. Will they grant me a 3rd TR visa in a row? Would it be an issue to apply in Vientiane again or should I apply from a country where I have never applied before?
