Got the Dtv visa in Ho Chi Minh today! Submitted on 31st Oct and got it on 4th Nov around 4pm.if u have any questions, feel free to ask.

I just got DTV in Hanoi, Vietnam today.

- applied on the last Wednesday.

- applied as a remote job employee for Myanmar company

- required documents are as described in their website plus your official stay permit in Vietnam: entry visa stamp to Vietnam and hotel booking confirmation should be okay for that.

- they mainly checked my supporting financial data and bank statement. It's better to prepare your salary pay slips if your bank transactions are not much enough. They wanted see many transactions in your bank statement.

- they will notify your application result and passport pick up date by email. So make sure email address you fill in visa application form is correct.

I'm aware of the strict employment rules.

My wife is a Thai teacher and I am a 46 year old Canadian. I’m sort of wondering if my wife were to open the business in her name and I worked for her and the business, could I get a work permit through the business?

Hi! Does anyone know if it's legal to start working in Thailand if a foreigner already has a Non-B (the company approved with BOI and got confirmation letter from BOI for a foreigner to get a Non-B) BUT the company is still in the process of applying for work permit?

Thoughts?
